Mission
Statement
Our mission at The
Transcription Place is to help you creatively bring your
valuable messages and experiences to the world with the
benefit of having your audios transcribed into a
professionally typed manuscript.
Background
With 25 years
plus as an Administrative Assistant in the corporate world,
I started my own business a little over 10 years ago. I
truly love what I do and my biggest reward is all of the
many interesting and wonderful people that I meet through
this business.
Just to name
a few:

I continue to be part of the project team of
The University of Maryland Baltimore County and The Center
for Aging Studies – Erickson School. I have been part of
this team for the past 5 years.
·
I transcribe interviews with radio
personalities, artists, and authors for 21st
Century Radio.
·
I transcribe Telesminars for some of my
clients, one of them being The National Association of Baby
Boomer Women.
·
I have transcribed interviews taped from
remote Pacific Islands for the Director of the Production
Team of Pacific Worlds.com.
·
I have transcribed interviews conducted on
behalf of Harvard University’s research team on The Civil
Rights Project.
·
I have been involved in the transition of
some of my clients from analog to digital recording. I have
developed knowledge and expertise in this rapidly growing
technology.
·
I have a number of clients who are conducting
interviews for their thesis or dissertation and it is very
rewarding to be able to help them reach their goal.
